Inspired by the French marbling pattern called “nonpareil” (unrivaled), Abacus explores the connection between mathematics and reality. With precise attention to color quantities, scales of movement and rhythmic intervals, it is a dramatic meditation on measurement and value. All designs are hand-marbled in Los Angeles Standard ground 100% Silk Fabric made to order in 3 yard panels Fabric Width: 40" Panel Length: 108" Patterns are non-repeating Sample size: 6" x 9.5" Minimum fabric order is 9 yards. Our products are made to order with lead times averaging 10-12 weeks for production. Please contact the studio to check lead times. Due to the handmade nature of our product and inherent characteristics of the marbling process, slight variations in color and pattern may occur from one batch to another.
