Designed by artist Eleanor Ross, Starcatcher is inspired by the ancient three hares motif, a symbol linked to eternity, interconnectedness and the endless turning of life’s cycles. Across the dial, three hares wander through a celestial woodland, catching golden stars, gilded with 22 carat gold leaf. How to read the time: The tip of the star on the shorter hand shows the hour. The star on the long hand marks the minutes. There is a subtle twinkling star at the centre of the design to indicate the seconds. Turn the watch over and you’ll find a sleeping hare resting atop a Swiss automatic mechanical movement. The hidden dreamer behind it all. This piece was created as a place to escape to. A watch that feels less like an object for measuring time, and more like stepping into another world, just for a moment.
