1970s Ceramic Pendant Light Shade

A cylindrical ceramic pendant light shade by Martha and Beaumont Mood, the celebrated San Antonio husband-and-wife studio whose handcrafted fixtures became synonymous with Texas mid-century modernism through their celebrated collaboration with architect O'Neil Ford. The shade is decorated with incised Greek key-inspired geometric bands, punctuated by small perforated holes that cast delicate patterns of light when illuminated.
