Antique Art Deco old mine cut diamond square cluster ring c1920's

A wonderful antique old mine cut natural diamond cluster ring dating from the early Art Deco Era c1920's This unique beautiful ring is hand crafted in platinum and white gold. The square cluster design has a central pierced 'floating' section, grain set with a chunky, high crown old mine cut diamond. Each corner is grain set with nine chunky, high crown old mine cut diamonds! Each of the old mine cut diamonds have been hand cut so each one is totally unique with variations in depth, height and shape. The diamonds were cut before there was such a thing as diamond grade charts but as a guide they are assessed to be H - J/K colour, I1-3 clarity. Diamond weight approx 0.35 to centre and 0.10ct to each corner, total 0.75 carat (assessed) The under gallery is fabulous, it stands quite high and has a hand sawn, pierced cut scroll design and tri-furcated shoulders. These early Art Deco rings are always very sought after so I was thrilled to find this one for the shop! A truly unique antique heirloom ring full of 'olde worlde' charm and sparkle! ERA : Early 20th Century. GEMSTONES : Natural earth mined old mine cut diamonds. Total diamond weight 0.75 carat (assessed) HALLMARKS : NONE : Setting tests as platinum and the band tests as 14ct. Rises 3.3mm off the finger. Band is 2.1mm wide. CONDITION : The ring is in good antique condition with typical age wear but no repairs.
