Oasis is a landmark 1978 cosmic ambient and lounge electronic album composed, produced, and arranged by Federico Monti Arduini under his famous alias, Il Guardiano Del Faro (which translates to "The Lighthouse Keeper"). Recorded at his seaside studio in Porto Santo Stefano, Italy, the record is widely celebrated as a cult classic precursor to New Age, space disco, and proto-house music.
