Fuchsia Side Plate #6

Stoneware plate, thrown on the wheel by hand with a foot ring turned in the base. Fired once to 1000 degrees celsius, then signed and waxed. Dipped into a transparent glossy glaze and decorated using a combination of stains and oxides. Once dry the piece is ready for its final 1240 degree firing. Dishwasher and microwave safe though discouraged for longevity. Approximately: 18cm diameter
