Pittsburgh Football

"THE OG" This very special print titled, “Pittsburgh Football” was originally created as a Christmas gift for one of my favorite people in the world–my DAD. Thanks to his love of the sport, I spent my life cheering on our beloved team and all the while making great memories with him. This piece unknowingly became the “kickoff” to my dream of being an artist. With over 80 hours of “hands on” drawing over a 5-month period, “Pittsburgh Football” was my first creation after a 10 year hiatus from drawing. I had an overwhelming feeling to create something special for my father that Christmas and this ended up being the “Super Bowl” of ideas. This fun-filled and highly personal piece was the one that officially started Christopher’s Collages. Since this was my first piece it is rather unique; whereas the smaller images inside the master image, are not all related to football. I drew this collage to represent our great city, this extraordinary team and the people who love it. It also depicts tons of images that represent me and my personal style. I must extend a very special thank you to all of you who helped me believe in myself with your appreciation of this collage (especially you, Dad). I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I do.
