SUIZAN Kataba Japanese saw 265mm Made in Japan, the SUIZAN Kataba Hand Saw is an excellent all purpose saw. It does not have the spine of a dozuki meaning you can cut down any depth. With its 14 tpi and 0.6mm thickness, the saw blade leaves a think kerf of 0.8mm and a clean finish that cannot be replicated with western saws. The handle is made in the traditional Japanese style with cane rattan. The blade is super sharp and can be easily replaced. No need for blade sharpening nor special tools to replace the blade.
