Fresh July 2026

July can be grim in the Valley, but these dark days make you appreciate the moments of sunshine. And FRESH July is just that, 440mls of pure sunshine. We’ve thrown the kitchen sink at this month’s FRESH. Jumbo rolled oats, chitted wheat, wheat malt and a smooth light lager base give malt sweetness and protein structure for haze and mouthfeel. Nelson cryo and T90 in the whirlpool are followed with even more Nelson T90 and cryo in the fermenter along with a massive dry hop hit of Simcoe, Oregon Loral, Sabro and a shot of Liquid Mosaic HyperBoost. Then, just to top it all off we also added a generous splash of liquid Mouteka Hop Kief in the bright tank, just for good measure! This is exactly how I want a FRESH to look. Super dense, opaque, sunflower yellow haze with a subliminal hint of hop chlorophyll green, topped off with perfect pure white foam that promises a glass load of intricate lacework. The aroma is mango indica and passionfruit icing, followed by a first sip that delivers even more lush, passionfruit pulp and mango nectar. The Sabro is subtle, presenting as candied tangerine peel and vanilla cream sweetness, balanced with pleasantly grippy icky sticky resin all supported with great juicy full mouthfeel. Even my empty glass smells good. My only regret at the end of this can is that I don’t have another. Happy July!
