Navelli - Classes
The Navelli sweater was designed by Caitlin Hunter of Boyland Knitworks. The pattern may be purchased here on Ravelry. This sweater is knit from the bottom up. Your project may be modified to include stripes instead of the charted color work design. It is knit using fingering weight yarn, on US #2 & #3 needles. Our Studio Sample was knit using our Silk'n Linen. Our Studio Sox or Studio Smitten yarn would also be perfect for this project. Please purchase and print the pattern prior to the first class. In this class you will learn: Bottom-up knitting Chart reading 2-color stranded colorwork Short row shaping Folded sleeve cuffs Icelandic bind off Four sessions: Saturday, July 18, August 8, 22 & 29, 2026 Time: 2:00 - 4:00pm Please note: Please purchase supplies and yarn prior to the first class. Students who would like custom dyed yarn for this project, please visit the shop about two weeks prior to the first class to give our dyers time to dye and dry your custom order. Students taking the class receive a 15% discount on all class supplies/yarn. Bring to class: Printed pattern yarn stitch markers suggested needles per pattern/to get gauge. Homework: Please make a guage swatch, blocked and dried prior to the first class. Gauge is important...by getting the right gauge and needle size you're garment will fit your size selected.
