PRE-ORDER - THIS ITEM WILL SHIP EARLY JULY "When we saw this dark aubergine colored tropical wool swatch, we immediately thought about a beautiful summer suit that would be anything but business. A lightweight suit to wear to summer weddings or fancy affairs where tuxedos may either feel too much or too expected. Using Fox Brothers' Golden Fox, a plain weave panama tropical wool suiting even lighter than Fox Air, we designed the jacket like a peak-lapel DB tuxedo but opted out of the contrast lapel facings. The 4x1 buttoning is equal parts retro and louche, the lapels have a generous belly and the trousers were cut a tad wider than our typical cut, while keeping the tuxedo stripe detail (but in same cloth).
