Sourced exclusively from a prime 4.5-hectare parcel of 50-year-old Merlot vines, its extremely low yields result in remarkable flavor density, giving the wine exceptional structure and depth. The wine undergoes fermentation and aging entirely in 100% new oak. Bottled without fining or filtering to preserve its raw aromatic intensity and plush texture, it is a true rarity with an annual production of only 3,000 to 5,000 bottles, making it a highly coveted collector’s prize. The palate is full-bodied and dense with thick, chewy tannin, sinewy in style, but missing persistence on the finish.
