Silver Story Belt by William Yazzie c1960
This silver overlay 'storyteller' concho belt was made by Navajo artist William Yazzie around the 1960s. Each circular disk link is finely decorated with Native american symbols in incredible detail, each station telling it's own story. Its vintage patina has been left intact, but we'd be happy to include a polishing cloth if a brighter, higher polish is preferred. Bound to be treasured in any collection for its rich culture and traditional, master craftsmanship! 1960s-70s By Navajo artist Willie Yazzie, stamped 925 Sterling silver Measures approx. 36 inches long Inventory # P03665
