2026 White Lotus - Anaerobically Oxidized White Tea from Nepal

This organically grown white tea from Nepal absolutely blew me away when I first tried it. It's exceptionally sweet and fruity with a sugar-syrup quality to the mouthfeel that is deeply alluring. The leaves undergo a brief period of anaerobic oxidation before they are dried which has a striking effect on the aromatics. We get refreshing notes of peach and watermelon in the aroma with an overall body feeling that is just dynamite. White Lotus comes from the Kalapani Tea Company in the Panchthar district of eastern Nepal, a young garden high in the Himalayan foothills near Kanchenjunga. Spring 2026 harvest
