ZOMBIE (Hybrid)

This is how we ZOMBIE : We crossed the stunning Ayam Cemani with the alert, high-energy Italian Leghorn and Walla. The Zombie. Each bird varies slightly in its coloring, but one thing is certain—every single one carries the The fibro gene (scientifically known as Fm or Fibromelanosis), creating an exquisitely unique bird. Their striking black bodies are adorned with bright solid white feathering: some splashed with bold black streaks, others with dramatic black chunks, and a few even sporting playful black polka dots. No matter which variation you end up with, you can count on an inquisitive, alert, and active bird—one that's remarkably cold-hardy, stunning to behold, and full of personality. Expect a highly productive layer of white eggs. Since this is our first year working with this hybrid, we haven't yet been able to pin down an exact annual egg count—but given the Leghorn's production history, this is a promising layer.
