Chateau Leoville Barton 2eme Cru Classe, Saint-Julien

The Château Léoville-Barton 2014 is a blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Deep purple in glass, medium intensity on the nose. Cassis, blackberry, violets, graphite and green bell pepper are backed up by high acidity and grippy tannins. very elegant with a long, silky finish. A very sophisticated wine. Drink now with a decant or hold, this has room to develop with further bottle aging, but delicious now.
