Workshop Series - Custom "Vine Leaf" Russet - 3 String Cigar Box Guitar

Russet sunburst distressed finish over veneered ply box with distressed zinc plated fixing brackets and hand painted vine leaf design. Walnut arm rest for more comfort when playing. Derived from our basic workshop guitars, these offer an improved pickup with tone and volume controls, with a hand painted fretboard to match the box. These offer genuine play-ability and great tone for both at home and on stage performances. Yellow Poplar through neck with "backstrap" thru' body reinforcement, sustainable blackwood TEK fretboard with Van Gent nickel silver jumbo fretwire, white edge dots and painted fingerboard with a distressed machine screw nut. Our guitar necks are all fully carved and profiled by hand using traditional methods for great play-ability and comfortable in-the-hand feel. Finished with shellac, hand rubbed gunstock oil and a final wax coat for a satin finish. 25 1/2 inch scale length, "Zilpha" hexcore strings. Tuned G, D, G. Cream twin rail strat sized humbucker pickup, tone and volume pots, cream chickenhead control knobs, "orange drop" tone capacitor, Van Damme hookup wire and Neutrik jack. Super quality bronze "Sta-Tite" open back machine heads . Walnut fretwire bridge. Bronze strap buttons. Walnut wrist guard. Classic Chickenbone John play-ability and quality.
