With wear, sunlight, and washing, the fabric will soften and the shade will gradually mellow into a quieter, more personal version of itself. This isn't a defect. It's the nature of the fabric, and the reason no two caps age quite the same way. Wear it in. Garment Care Hand wash cold, separately, with like colours.
