This is lip-smackingly good Tavel: intense colour and herbal notes with blood orange and salty citrus peel bitters that will get your mouth watering. Gaël Petit is as close as it gets to Tavel royalty, with ancestry in the appellation dating back to the 16th century. This cuvée is named Postérité 70 as a reference to the birth years of Gaël (1970) and his great-grandfather Aimé Roudil (1870), who created the appellation. It is a blend of Grenache and Cinsault from two different terroirs, aged in concrete vats and old oak, depending on the parcels. Traditionally styled but super on point for modern palates looking for a rosé with more interest and intensity. This is delicious and sophisticated. 'Buvabilité' (ie Trinkfluss) galore!
