The measuring transducer converts the measured variables into a standard signal of 0-10 V or 4...20 mA (switchable). The sensor is used in offices, hotels, conference rooms, apartments, stores, etc. and is used to evaluate the room climate. This enables energy-saving, needs-based room ventilation and thus a reduction in operating costs and an increase in well-being. The air quality is measured using a VOC sensor (mixed gas sensor for volatile organic substances). This determines the pollution of the room air by contaminated gases such as cigarette smoke, body vapors, breathing air, solvent vapors, emissions from parts of the building, etc. A low, medium or high VOC sensitivity can be set for the expected air contamination.
