The Impact Driver features Assist Mode (A-mode) which helps eliminate "screw cam-out" and "cross threading" by driving at low speed until tightening begins. It also features two Tightening Modes (T-mode) for faster tightening of self-drilling screws in thick or thin gauge metal that helps prevent damage to the screw or workpiece. A one-touch 4-speed power selector button is positioned on the rear of the impact driver, which enables one-handed speed changes.
