The Cambridge Imprint Selvedge Mustard Hardback Notebook is a beautifully crafted slim hardback notebook, inspired by the beloved patterned German Insel-Bücherei books of the inter-war period — those elegant little volumes that also inspired King Penguins and later Ladybird books in the United Kingdom.Covered in Cambridge Imprint’s Selvedge patterned paper in a rich Mustard colourway, each notebook contains 80 pages of plain cream paper, sewn properly and bound to open completely flat. The Selvedge pattern was created for textiles magazine Selvedge in 2019, evoking embroidery with its intricate, woven aesthetic. Mustard is one of three colourways, all inspired by ancient natural dyes.
