Extra Large Size Only when you see the actual shipping box will you understand what "large" truly means. The total package weighs in at lb/ kg, the subwoofer's net weight is lb / kg, and the dimensions are " x " x " ( mm x mm x mm) (H x W x D). Is this the first time you've received a subwoofer this large? The Bravus III B212 has a truly striking visual presence. Unlike most subwoofers, you'll need to carefully plan its placement, as it will definitively not fit snugly in your corner. Powerful Low Frequencies When it comes to delivering cinematic explosion sequences or those deep bass notes in music, the energy is nothing short of explosive, making you feel the vibrations in the air and the subtle trembling of the floor beneath you. It creates an immersive, lifelike experience with crisp, powerful, detail-rich sound. There’s no muddiness or sluggishness here—instead, it flawlessly captures low-frequency elements like drumbeats and thunder. This design greatly enhances the depth and dynamic range of audio quality, making it a perfect match for home theater setups and high-end audio systems. It provides outstanding support for anyone looking to enjoy the ultimate low-frequency experience. Equipped With a Newly Designed 12" Woofer The Bravus III B212 features a brand-new 12-inch driver. The B212 utilizes a cone made from an aluminum-magnesium alloy, achieving a precise balance of rigidity and weight. The driver unit is secured by specially designed rubber surrounds and a spider suspension, ensuring smooth and unimpeded linear piston movement. The entire assembly is firmly supported by a robust metal frame and driven by a powerful magnetic system. It is this woofer design that gives the B212 its powerful energy output and extremely deep bass extension capabilities. Ported Enclosure Design is The Ultimate Solution The B212 features a ported enclosure, resulting in a larger size and significantly increased weight. However, its key advantage lies in the qualitative leap it achieves in impact and low-frequency presence. It can cover the entire space with absolute control, delivering deeper bass extension and more powerful impact, bringing the home theater experience closer to that of a professional cinema and providing a chest-thumping, immersive experience. The core of this breakthrough lies in the guided design – through precisely and meticulously tuned vents, it effectively expands the low-frequency response range while maintaining excellent control performance. The rectangular vent design at the bottom significantly reduces airflow noise at high volumes, providing ample breathing room for this performance beast and ensuring its energy is fully released. It also allows for easy conversion to a sealed subwoofer using the included port plug. High-End HDF Cabinet Design The B212's cabinet appearance and structural design are highly distinctive. The matte black finish, combined with clean, fluid lines, presents a design style that is both functional and industrial, blending seamlessly into any environment, be it a professionally installed home theater, a DIY Home Theater, or a high-end living room system. In line with its high-end positioning, the manufacturing process is exceptional as well. The cabinet features a curved design on both sides, and the panels are made of multi-layered, high-density fiberboard with multiple internal support structures, and anti-vibration feet are also included. This series of design choices made by our engineering and R&D team provides excellent stability to the cabinet, effectively suppressing unwanted harmonic resonances. This stability is crucial for supporting the two 12-inch woofers, and helps in minimizing vibration interference with sound quality, and ensuring you get a pure, and powerful sound. Powerful Output and Refined Performance The Aperion Audio Bravus III B212 fully meets its design goals. It features two 12-inch long-throw woofers, a 750-watt RMS Class D amplifier, and a state-of-the-art digital signal processor (DSP), boasting a luxurious hardware configuration. In terms of performance, the B212 is truly impressive, delivering exceptional power and a wide soundstage while maintaining meticulous control over detail. After careful tuning, it exhibits outstanding quality whether used for movies or music. Its volume control is incredibly precise, maintaining excellent performance even at low volumes without masking other speakers or causing frequency deficiencies. This subwoofer can reach below 20 Hz with exceptional linearity, delivering a depth and accuracy unattainable by most other subwoofers. Using the B212, you can truly feel a visceral impact, while the sound reproduction remains refined and natural. It is this balance that sets Aperion Audio apart from its competitors. Although some competitors may have comparable power, none can match its performance. ICEpower® Amplifier Modules This brand-new Class D power amplifier utilizes ICEpower® power modules. It maximizes driver control while delivering abundant and precisely controllable power, effortlessly moving large volumes of air. It boasts excellent efficiency and stable operations on standard household power circuits. This amplifier delivers 750 watts RMS and up to 1,500 watts peak, all while incorporating the latest DSP processing technologies for core functions, including crossover, volume, phase, and the preset EQ's. Three Preset EQs The onboard DSP includes three selectable EQ profiles to easily adapt the subwoofer to your room, content or preference. Each preset adjusts the system's frequency response and extension characteristics. - Extend gives an extended frequency response for the deepest bass; however, the lower frequencies can be overrepresented and “muddy”, depending on the room geometries, placement of the sub, and listening position. - Normal is a direct countermeasure to the “muddy” bass problem of overrepresented bass or room gain. Lowering the bass extension makes the bass more controlled. - The "Flat" mode has no built-in DSP processing, allowing users to connect other low-frequency management devices for use. Advanced Class D High-Power Amplifier The B212 amplifier uses ICEpower® Class D technology with exceptional dynamic capability and low distortion. With 750W RMS, 1500W peak, it offers reference-level performance and precise control over the driver. - Delivers clean, powerful bass even in large rooms and demanding source material. - High efficiency class D amplifier optimized for low distortion & excellent sound quality. - High power amplifier design. - Inputs: Line-level unbalanced RCA (1), and balanced XLR (1). - Outputs: Line-level unbalanced RCA (1), and balanced XLR (1). - The system enables the connection of multiple subwoofers, allowing simultaneous adjustment and tuning of each. (this requires professional expertise) - Three preset EQ reference settings, allowing you to select the appropriate EQ setting for different environments. - Variable volume control. - Variable phase control. (0° to 180°) - Adjustable (40 to 160Hz) low-pass crossover. - Low-pass crossover bypass function. - Output maximizer circuit provides maximum clean & clear sound output, and prevents driver over excursion, amp clipping, and distortion. - Power & standby mode indicator LED. More about the amplifier...... Ported vs Sealed Stencil Illustrations The B212 features a ported enclosure equipped with a foam plug, allowing for both sealed and ported operating modes. This enables you to adjust bass extension, damping, and output based on room size and listening preferences. Is the Subwoofer too heavy? How do I take it out of the box? This subwoofer is quite heavy, so to make it easier for users to move, we've pre-installed wheels on the bottom of the subwoofer. During unpacking, you can easily pull the subwoofer out of the box and wheel it to your desired location. Wheels and Silicone Feet Two of the wheels have locking mechanisms; if you intend to keep the wheels on, please remember to lock the wheels to prevent the subwoofer from moving during use. We also included four(4) anti-vibration silicone feet in the packaging. If you don't want to use the wheels, you can lay the subwoofer on its side, remove the wheels, and replace them with the included silicone feet. Can the subwoofer be laid down, or can it only be used upright? To facilitate as many install locations as possible, the Bravus III B212 Subwoofer supports being laid down. Allowing you to place it within your wall or behind an acoustic screen. We also included three silicone pads that perfectly fit the curved enclosure of the B212. Simply insert one pad at the front and the remaining two pads towards the back to secure the subwoofer in place, all while avoiding scratches. The Aperion Audio Bravus III B212 is a product that makes no apologies for its large size and exceptional performance. If you have ample space in your home or don't mind its considerable dimensions, then it's the perfect choice for users who want to both clearly hear, feel and truly experience sound in their home theater or stereo system. Compared to similar large, ported subwoofers, the B212 not only boasts a significant advantage in low-frequency extension but also dominates the low-frequency range. Its reference-grade bass delivers both cinematic quality and ultimate auditory satisfaction, which is the core appeal of this product. With its powerful dynamics and absolute control, the B212 creates an immersive auditory feast, providing enjoyment far beyond your expectations. Whether watching Hollywood blockbusters or listening to bass-heavy music, its performance is consistently outstanding.
