Engine Turned Silver Plate Cocktail Shaker

A stylish English silver plated cocktail shaker with bands of engine turning to the top & cap as well as to the entire body of the shaker, circa 1935. An integral strainer is concealed in the top and the shaker has a one pint capacity. Marked, Sheffield, on the base and made from a heavy gauge of silver plate. The engine turning to the exterior provides additional grip as well as decoration. Dimensions: 21 cm/8¼ inches (height) x 9 cm/3½ inches (max. diameter).
