This protects it against shocks and other external influences. Instead of cheap plastic in aluminium look, you receive a waterproof, airtight, and dustproof case made of ultra high-impact ABS plastic. An automatic air pressure equalization valve provides pressure equalization if necessary, so that despite the watertightness you can always open the case easily even under negative pressure. Even after air travel, when you visit an observing site on a high mountain, or in the event of large temperature differences, you can always access the contents without any problem. The large handle allows the case to be carried securely even with gloves. The two large quick-release latches can also be operated with gloves.
