A 1930s ceramic centre bowl by the short-lived French maker Manufacture Nouvelle de Faïences (MNF) of Sèvres. Finished in a vibrant blue glaze, the bowl sits on an iron base adorned with three decorative spheres, giving the piece a distinctive Art Deco style. Founded by Paul Sailly in 1929, MNF later became Sèvres Vinsare France in 1936, before production ceased in the early 1940s. This example is well marked to the underside and is a fine example of French Art Deco ceramics. H 23cm D 16cm
