Folkloric Floral Kilim

The Folkloric Floral Kilim is a handwoven artwork created in collaboration with Volga Linen, translating their iconic Folkloric Floral print into the richly textured medium of kilim weaving. Rendered in wool by skilled artisans at a fair-trade weaving centre in Turkey, one of 24 weavers working with time-honoured techniques, each piece is rooted in traditional folk motifs and a shared appreciation for heritage craft. The design explores the relationship between textile and art, drawing on Volga's new Folkloric Floral colourway and woven decorative trim to bring something entirely new into being. A celebration of fair-trade partnership and thoughtful, enduring design. Please note this piece does not include a frame or hanging fixtures.
