Originla 1940's White Cotton Smock with Bright Floral Print - Bust 38 *
This pretty smock was made in the 1940's by Hawkins of Preston. A classic smock of the era, it is made from medium weight cotton and has a busy floral print in red, blue, yellow and green. Featuring long sleeves, with button cuffs, it has a patch pocket and neat collar. Originally designed to be worn over clothes to keep them clean while you're doing chores, it is such a pretty piece it would make a great blouse. Measurements It is not meant to be close fitting and is designed to be blouson so will best for up to a 38" bust. However, to ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own; Flat bust 21.5" Shoulders between sleeves 14.5" Underarm sleeve length 18.5" Length 33.5" Condition Very good, only shows the most minor wear.
