Our original heritage machines have been operating in our spinning mill since 2005, though their story began long before that, with some dating back to the 1940s. A true heritage machine is more than equipment, its part of textile manufacturing history. Preserving and maintaining them is essential, not only to keep these traditional processes alive today, but to ensure future generations can continue to learn from and work with them to produce beautiful British made yarns too. These working machines form part of a living legacy of British industrial heritage and are now among the few remaining of its kind in the UK.
