Brutal!!!

2naturkinder's relationship with La Sorga's Antony Tortul goes back to 2013, when he opened his cellar doors for a proper tasting. Ten years later, at the C'era Una Volta salon in Italy, Michael arrived with a bag of samples for a late-night session with Tortul and Patrick Bouju, looking for a wine worthy of the coveted gold BRUTAL!!! label. As the night wore on and the crowd around the table grew, one wine kept pulling people back. Tortul's verdict: "I'll give you the gold label for this." After a few more months of aging, Jean Louis Pinto handed over the labels, and 2naturkinder released their first pure Riesling and the first German BRUTAL!!! 2023 was a great year for Riesling. It was a dry, hot summer with just enough rain to keep things balanced. Grapes from the steepest section were harvested separately, pressed as whole bunches, and fermented in a 1,200-litre barrel, where the wine rested until bottling in July 2024.
