MALTY AND CREAMY Introducing Malted Teacake, the fifth release in our boundary-pushing and experimental Huntress series. This whisky heroes our passion for fermentation experiments. We’ve used a yeast strain typically used in the brewing of Belgian-style ales, one that is rarely used in Scotch whisky. It brings malty, creamy notes - flavours of buttered toast, freshly baked cake and fig marmalade. - Huntress Malted Teacake's unique fermentation, along with maturation in our house style casks, results in a buttery, jammy whisky with a touch of minerality. - 4,391 bottles / 48.5% abv / 70cl / certified organic / vegan friendly / gluten free / natural colour / non-chill filtered / unpeated - Our founder Annabel is hosting an online live tasting for this release on the 18 May 2026 at 7pm. An ancient Gaelic goddess known as a huntress, a protector of nature and for walking her own path. This series is centred around that ethos of discovery, and Nc’nean’s passion for hunting for unique flavours in whisky making. It also pairs beautifully with cheese, particularly something robust like Isle of Mull Cheddar. And in a nod to its fermentation roots, it sits just as comfortably alongside Belgian ales, from the rich depth of a Dubbel to the lighter lift of a Patersbier.
