Orange - Trovita

Also known as Trovita sweet orange, this tree produces masses of small-medium sized, sweet oranges. The fruit are smaller than Washington Navels with a milder flavour, but more juicy. Trovita makes a fantastic juicing orange due to its high juice content, and the the fresh juice can store well in the fridge for days without turning bitter. Believed to a seedling from a navel orange fruit but does not have a navel and juice does not turn bitter rapidly. The name Trovita is the word for "found" in the Esperanto language, as this tree was grown from a seedling that was "found" in a research institute in California.
