The Old Particular Fanatical About Flavour Secret Grain 21 years old 2004 is a single grain whisky from an undisclosed distillery bottled in the Old Particular Fanatical About Flavour series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. This Secret Grain was distilled in 2004 and it matured in a refill cask followed by a finish in a PX sherry cask. It got bottled in 2026 at natural cask strength of 58,3% ABV, non chill filtered with no added colour, as a limited edition single cask release of 240 bottles. Official tasting notes: Treacle tart, red currants and candied walnuts lead, followed by cherry bakewell, desiccated coconut and crème caramel. Sweet Malt, soft baking spice, strawberry jam and stewed plums linger through a rich, enduring finish.
