The Comet GP-3N is a premium, dual-band fibreglass base station antenna for 2-metre (144 MHz) and 70cm (430 MHz) amateur radio use. With a gain of 4.5 dBi on 2m and 7.2 dBi on 70cm, and a maximum power rating of 200W SSB / 100W FM, it delivers excellent omnidirectional performance across both bands from a single antenna. The N-type connector ensures low-loss, weatherproof connectivity. A standout design feature is the unique split-thread lock bolt that compresses when installed to prevent loosening — keeping your antenna secure even in high winds. The mounting tube doubles as a cable protector, shielding the feedline from the elements. Mounts on masts of 30–60mm diameter.
