Meet Bracken — a deep, earthy olive-brown inspired by the dense carpets of bracken fern that blanket the hillsides and moorlands of Britain as they fade into their rich autumn hues. Each batt is carded from a blend of 50% Black Welsh and 50% Kent Romney wool — two heritage British breeds that together deliver a beautifully textured, bulky batt with rich tonal depth. At 30–32 microns, Brook is versatile enough for needle felting, wet felting, and spinning, with a lofty, airy structure that's a pleasure to work with.
