While it shares the same PEI chemistry and high-performance characteristics as standard ULTEM™ 9085, the CG version undergoes more stringent testing and includes documentation required for regulated industries such as aerospace and transportation. This Certified Grade material has improved mechanical properties with an approximate 39% increase in tensile strength and an approximately 65% increase to elongation at break in the Z orientation compared to standard ULTEM™ 9085 resin.
