Perdomo Legacy Father & Son Connecticut
The Perdomo Legacy Father & Son Connecticut is the one blend Nick Perdomo Jr. and Nicholas Perdomo III built side by side. It follows the regular Legacy line, which Perdomo III created as a 60th birthday gift for his father. This release is limited, which is rare for Perdomo, and the reason is the tobacco: every leaf comes from 2011-2016 harvests that don't exist in production quantity. The wrapper is a Connecticut-seed leaf grown in Ecuador. Under it sits the piece that ties the whole Father & Son project together, the family's hybrid seed, a Habano and Cameroon cross that Perdomo Jr. developed and grows under shade at Finca Natalie in Esteli. All three Father & Son blends use that hybrid as their binder. The fillers come from Perdomo's farms in Esteli, Condega, and Jalapa. Everything in the cigar carries 10 to 15 years of age. It's the mildest of the three. Cedar and cream lead, with the Cameroon side of the hybrid binder pushing a natural sweetness underneath and a light spice on the finish. The age shows up as smoothness. No rough edges, no harsh transitions. This is the daytime pick in the set, and the one to hand someone who wants real aged tobacco without the weight. The taper changes what the blend does as it burns. The narrow sections concentrate the smoke, the wide midsection opens it up. Perdomo builds the 50-count chests at its own box factory. How It Differs From the Regular Legacy The regular Perdomo Legacy Connecticut is production tobacco in four standard sizes. Father & Son is a one-off pull from rare aged lots, in one shape, released once or twice a year at most. Same family, different tobacco. Shop more cigars at Renegade
