Founded by John Paul in 1984, Cameron Winery is a small family operation located in the Red Hills of Dundee, Oregon, where they operate their dry-farmed estate vineyard, Clos Electrique. The wine is made from Pinot noir vines approaching 40 years of age, which are planted in a traditional Burgundian manner using a diverse collection of clones. In the glass, this bottling displays a savory profile of forest floor, pine resin, and blackberry, balanced by a silky, mid-weight structure. The 2023 vintage provided a return to relative normalcy with strong ripening conditions, resulting in a wine that is precise and expressive of its site.
