Extension Shampoo

A gentle, sulfate free cleanse made for human hair toppers, wigs and extensions, and kind enough for the hair growing on your own head. It works on any brand, so if you wear a topper, a wig, or clip in, tape or bonded extensions bought anywhere, this is the shampoo to use. We recommend using it on your own hair as well, because a piece blends best when both halves of your head are cared for the same way. A hairpiece never receives the oil your scalp produces and it cannot repair itself, so sulfates strip moisture out of hair that has no way to replace it, and that is what turns a soft, expensive piece dry and coarse within a few months. This formula cleanses without stripping, using finger lime for antioxidants, lemon myrtle for its protective and revitalising properties, hydrolysed jojoba esters to improve moisture retention, hydrolysed quinoa protein to reinforce the hair fibre, and ginseng extract to support healthy hair condition. Over 99% naturally derived ingredients, some of them organically certified, and free from sulfates, parabens, silicones, ethoxylates, propylene glycol, petrochemical cleansers, phthalates, DEA and artificial colours. Vegan, and never tested on animals. To use, massage a small amount through wet hair, rinse thoroughly, repeat if needed, and follow with the Extension Conditioner. For a topper or wig, wash it by hand rather than on your head, in cool water, working the shampoo through gently rather than scrubbing, and never twist or wring it.
