Ravensburger Puzzle Conserver, 200ml. A clear liquid conserver that bonds a finished puzzle into a single sheet so it can be lifted, framed and hung. How it works. It is not an adhesive between the puzzle and a surface. It is a thin sealer you apply to the printed front, and it runs down into the seams between the pieces and sets there. Every tab and blank fills, so the pieces lock to each other. What you are left with is one sheet you can pick up. How to use it Shake the bottle hard. It separates on the shelf and an unshaken bottle goes on unevenly. Lay the finished puzzle flat, image up, on newspaper or a plastic sheet. It does seep through to the back. Turn the bottle over and wipe the conserver straight onto the picture with the foam spreader in the cap. No brush needed. Spread it so it works down into the seams rather than sitting on top of the pieces. The seams are the whole mechanism. Leave it flat to dry. The bottle quotes an hour. Give it longer before you lift it, because the seams go off last. For a 1000 piece puzzle, this is step one of two. Ravensburger's own instructions say a puzzle over 500 pieces should also be mounted on a board.
