Nena lounge armchair

Zanotta's Nena Lounge armchair extends the Nena family into residential, contract and hospitality settings. The collection's styling is immediately recognisable: a lightweight frame set against the generous volume of the padded elements, with tailored detailing that emphasises the sinuous curve of the backrest. A slim but sturdy tapered tubular steel frame supports two overlapping seat cushions and carries the suspended, sculpted polyurethane backrest above. The semi-circular backrest wraps around you and doubles as an armrest, giving something to push against when getting up. An air slit between backrest and seat lightens the whole, an effect heightened by tapered, slightly slanted legs. Nena was designed around long periods of sitting, with ergonomics and comfort at the centre, and built to last — including a zip fastener concealed by a ruffle along the rear of the backrest, so the cover is removable.
