Benefits Traditionally used to calm the mind under stress and lift energy when feeling low, matcha is rich in antioxidants and plant-based goodness, a grounding addition to a daily wellness ritual. Ingredients Japanese Green Tea.*Certified Organic. Directions Drinking matcha is a sensory experience, and using a matcha bowl rather than a teacup is essential. Cup the bowl with your hands, take it to your lips and breathe in the aroma as you sip. To serve, measure half a teaspoon of Zen Ceremonial Matcha into a strainer over a matcha bowl and sift gently to remove any lumps. Add 60 to 80ml of warm water, 70 to 80°C, and whisk in an “m” motion for 20 seconds, until foamy and bright green. A traditional bamboo matcha whisk is best, small bubbles are said to be a good sign. For a matcha latte, gently steam 60 to 80ml of plant-based milk such as coconut or almond, taking care not to boil it, then whisk in half a teaspoon of Zen Ceremonial Matcha. Tea Ritual: bloom the flavour by preheating the pot or cup with boiling water before use. After brewing, return the spent leaves to the earth, whether to compost, a worm farm or the garden, and use the cooled leftover tea to hydrate and nourish the plants. Considerations Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Contains caffeine. Available in 30g. Packaged in Australia.
