Senior's Pottery workshop: Make a Cheese Board

Date: September 9, 2026 Duration: 3 Hours Time: 9:30 am to 4:30 pm Seniors' Price: $34.95 + HST Regular Price: $89.95 + HST Instructor: Katie Argyle Description: Create a Cheese Board Create a handmade ceramic cheese board in this playful pottery workshop for adults 55+. Learn how to shape, decorate and personalize a functional serving piece, complete with small dipping bowls. No previous pottery experience is needed. Participants will receive supportive, step-by-step instruction while creating something unique to enjoy at home. Your finished cheese board will be food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe. After the workshop, we will apply a clear food-safe glaze and fire your creation in our kilns. Your piece will be ready for pickup approximately two weeks after the workshop. Please Note: This workshop is generously subsidized through the New Horizons for Seniors Program, allowing participants aged 55 and older to register at the reduced rate of $34.95 + HST. Participants under the age of 55 are welcome to join at the regular registration price of $89.95 + HST. Please bring a valid photo ID to confirm eligibility for the senior rate.
