Roaster's Pick - "Equinox"
Single Origin: El Salvador Roast Level: Medium Process: Wet Hulled, Patio Dried With notes of: Orange, Cocoa, Fuji Apple Meet Equinox, our September Roaster's Pick from El Salvador. Roasted to a medium level, this coffee strikes a delicious balance between bright fruit and smooth sweetness, with notes of orange, cocoa, and Fuji apple. We find this cup incredibly balanced, approachable, and just enough complexity to keep things interesting. More about the bean: This fully washed coffee comes from San Miguel Mill in Ahuachapán, El Salvador, a family-owned operation founded in 1975. Today, the farms, mill, and export operation are managed by the family's fifth and sixth generations, continuing decades of involvement in El Salvador's coffee industry. A dedicated quality team oversees the coffee throughout processing, from receiving freshly harvested cherries through preparation for export. Grown at approximately 1,250 meters above sea level, this lot consists of the Bourbon varietal and is fully washed before being patio dried.
