Furnace - 90% Tungsten Core Steel Tip Darts

The Furnace is built in two layers, and it's the kind of construction you rarely see at this price. A 90% tungsten core runs right through the centre of the barrel and forms the nose, with a steel outer shell wrapped around it carrying the grip pattern. That combination does something clever. Tungsten is dense, so keeping it down the centre line concentrates the weight exactly where it does most good, while the steel shell handles the job of being gripped and knocked about. You get the flight characteristics of a tungsten dart with the durability of steel on the outside, and a barrel that feels substantial in the hand rather than thin and hard to locate. Both weights sit on a 50mm barrel at 7.6mm, so the 22g and 24g are identical to hold and differ only in mass — a genuinely clean way to try two grams either side without changing anything else about your setup. At 7.6mm there's plenty of surface to find, which makes these a good choice if you've struggled to pick up slimmer barrels consistently. It's one of the more interesting ways into tungsten performance we stock, and considerably cheaper than a solid tungsten set of the same weight. Supplied with standard flights and black TRX shafts.
