Yarlington Mills, Single Varietal Cider

Our first ‘single varietal’ made from the fabulous Yarlington Mill apple grown at Killahora. This apple was first been discovered as a ‘wilding’ in 1898 found it growing out of a wall by the mill-race at Yarlington, England and was sowed for cider since then due to its excellent characteristics. Tasting Notes: Seek out notes of spiced red apple, clementine skins and banoffee. Serve: Lightly chilled as a complex sipper or goes with almost any food! Pairing: Serve with cooked meats, oily fish or roasted vegetables. A real food all rounder given its balance of acidity and tannins!
