Recycled Sari Tea Towels - Set Of Three, India

These fabulous tea towels are handmade out of recycled sari fabric from India. They are double layered so each side has a different fabric. The towels are finished off with traditional kantha embroidery, and small hanging loops. Measures 25.5" long by 19.5" wide. Set of three. Please note: Colors and patterns will vary, since the fabric is recycled. See photos for examples. All of our products are shipped with cards containing information about fair trade and the corresponding artisan group. ABOUT THE ARTISANS This scarf was handmade in a fair trade women's cooperative in India. The artisans are not only paid excellent wages but receive interest-free loans, business and computer training, and advances to purchase raw materials. They also have access to health clinics and education for their children.
