This is a Rare Vintage Brass Primus No 212 Kerosene Camping Stove and Original Metal Storage Tin. Manufactured in Sweden by B.A. Hjorth & Co. during the early 1920s (roughly 1921–1925), the Primus No. 212 is a highly prized collectible among vintage camp gear enthusiasts. Key Characteristics of the Primus 212 The Silent Burner: Unlike the roaring burner commonly found on the legendary Primus 210, the 212 was designed as the "silent burning" counterpart. It features an intricate, specialized silent burner head. Fixed Feet: Models from this specific era were built with rigid, fixed legs soldered to the brass fuel tank, rather than the folding mechanism found on later portable travel stoves. The Storage Tin: The accompanying dark, aged iron box features the classic embossed "Primus" logo circle on the lid.
