Condition: Used core, new key and pins This custom ASSA Twin 6000 KIK cutaway reveals the full stack of six key pins along with the five side pins that make the 6000 such a grueling lock to pick. It is built on a used core fitted with a new key and a new set of pins. This piece is oriented around key cycling and looks, not picking. It is intended for display, mechanical study, and cycling with the key. As with any cutaway lock, gentle use is recommended to preserve the lock and maintain proper operation. Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work.
