Beyond Butternut: A Winter Squash Tasting

Sunday, Sept 27th 4PM Not sure what to do with all those beautiful winter squash—or which one to choose? Let’s go Beyond Butternut! Join us at Rosaly’s for a tasting of the many varieties of winter squash we grow on the farm. We’ll taste them side by side so you can discover the differences in flavor and texture—from sweet and nutty to rich, creamy and earthy. Along the way, we’ll talk about how to prepare each variety, which ones are best for roasting, soups, baking and other fall dishes, and share some of our favorite simple ways to enjoy them. Winter squash is one of the great pleasures of the fall harvest—and with so many varieties to choose from, there’s much more to explore than the familiar butternut. Come taste your way through the harvest, learn a few cooking tips, and perhaps discover a new favorite to bring home for dinner. Attendee Cancellations: Full refunds will be issued for cancellations made up to 7 days before the event. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable, but you are welcome to transfer your spot to a friend or family member—just send us a quick note to let us know who is coming in your place. Weather & Rain Date: In the event of severe weather, thunderstorms, or conditions that make the event unfavorable, we will postpone the event. We will notify all registered participants via email with a rescheduled date or full refund options.
